Lexus Full Maintenance Service Plan

The Lexus Full Maintenance Service Plan that accompanies a new Lexus covers all parts and labour costs associated with the Lexus recommended service schedule for a period of 4 years or 140,000 kilometres* from the date of first registration. It combines an exacting standard of maintenance with a high level of customer convenience and ensures your Lexus is serviced, as it should be – by specially trained Lexus technicians.
 

Schedule Of Cover

The Lexus Full Maintenance Service Plan covers:

• All parts and labour costs associated with the Lexus recommended servicing schedule. This includes the inspection and adjustment or, at your dealer’s discretion, the replacement of the items listed in the servicing schedule for your vehicle. 
• All other reasonable maintenance and repair costs, apart from those items specifically listed under the Exclusions section, which are directly associated with the recommended service schedule and are necessary to maintain the vehicle in good working order. 
• Cost of the Vehicle Inspection Certificate as required. 
• Up to 4 replacement tyres during the 4 years or 140,000 kilometres* period, where necessary to meet warrant of fitness standards.

* whichever occurs first under normal operating conditions
 

Full Maintenance Service Plan Exclusions

The Lexus Full Maintenance Service Plan does not cover the following circumstances:

• Repairs that are the result of the vehicle not being maintained in accordance with the Lexus service schedule. 
• Any repairs undertaken by other than an Authorised Lexus Dealer. 
• Any duplication of repairs or any repairs improperly performed or replacements improperly installed by other than an Authorised Lexus Dealer. 
• Any repairs necessary due to the replacement of parts other than the manufacturer-approved parts or due to the use of fuel, lubricants or fluids other than those specifically recommended by Lexus New Zealand. 
• Any damage from any type of accident or act of omission, which is wilful, unlawful or negligent, or to any resultant damage due to lack of maintenance, abuse or neglect. 
• Where the owner breaches any manufacturer’s or statutory warranty 
• Where the vehicle has any experimental equipment, modification on any body or chassis component, trim of any description, or change of component specification. 
• Where the odometer fitted to the vehicle is altered or replaced, except where it has been repaired or replaced under warranty. 
• Where the vehicle is used in competition, rally or racing. 
• Any third party property damage or bodily injury attributable to the owner of the contract. 
• Any damage resulting from industrial or environmental conditions. 
• Any repair resulting from extreme or arduous use.
   

Transfer of the New Vehicle Warranty and Service Plan

The Lexus Warranty and Service Plan are both fully transferable to a subsequent owner of this vehicle. A transfer of ownership card is provided at the back Lexus Full Maintenance Service Plan booklet. However, the Warranty and Service Plan are not transferable from one vehicle to another.
